Month Five Pictures & New Doings

As mentioned in my last post, Isaac has developmentally advanced even more in his fifth month. We've seen him discover his toes this month, follow moving objects with his head and eyes (he was doing this a little bit before, but now it's like an adult would), clutch and scrape at things with his hands, and pass objects between his hands (successfully). He's also been making some funny faces and noises: smacking his lips after eating is not uncommon, sticking his tongue out while smiling big and starting to squeal and make other noises that indicate he may be noticing his own voice.

As you will see in his "official" pictures, he's also become interested in anything placed in front or beside him. He was VERY interested in the chalk board and in other pictures, where he was looking at the ground, he was following Charlotte with his eyes and head.

"Oooh! Something to play with!"
"I see a kitty!!"
"Oooh! There's still something to play with!"

"It would look better next to the kitty."

"Where's that kitty?"
"Kitty??"
"Mom. Seriously, I need to pet that kitty."
